I have loved this series since my Da first handed it to me many years ago. Ive owned it as single books and the omnibus'. The story is a saga and this set of 2 books covers all 4 children in this generation. Each with their own paths. Daughter of the Lion is by far my favorite book in the series, I feel in love with Keely from the start and even more by the end. Her brothers are just as intriguing but as a shared book I didn't have to get quite as invested in just one of them. I have given away sets of these books and would recommend Jennifer Roberson to many looking for a 'new' author. I can't wait for the issues with getting it as an e-book get resolved so that I can carry all 4 books in the omnibus on trips.

I think the world, the characters, and the story all work. Some things very different from any other stories out there. Remained consistant which I need to keep reading.
